Just got my 1981 Mini City
Just got my 1981 Mini City
I am happy to say we just purchased a 1981 Mini City. We sold our 2002 Avalanche over here in England and decided to pick up a piece of British history. Our Mini is ALL original from factory. It only has 18,700 miles on the engine with paperwork to show. Original paint and interior. We are excited. It has been garaged kept from new. An older lady had it. It was her husbands who recently passed away. She was happy to know that it was going to an American couple who would keep it in original condition. The best part of all is there is NO RUST...let me say it again...NO RUST. It is very hard to find a good Mini that has no rust on the floor boards, door sills, around the roof, or in the boot aka trunk, or that has not had any alterations. Take a look at my pictures in the Gallery.

Hey Shipmate,
Follow through with a 2006 MINI, from the BMW purchase program. US Spec, and cheaper than state-side. Just picked up a 2005 MCS stateside, but would love to get one of the 2006 models, with a few different limited edition finish and trim options, and JCW available as a factory option.
Saving an easy $1400 on installation fees is nothing to sneeze at..
Cheers,
Matthew Z.
