Wow! I know it's easy to sight mini's now on all so Cal freeways (mostly orange county) however, where is the most unusual sighting place?

My husband and daughter yesterday morning saw an indi blue, white lid and wheels in the most remote area I know of:
Sage Rd. Riverside county near Anza/Temecula. Who were you? And were you just driving the road because of it's twists and turns?

Good on ya, very few of these babies in Riv Co!

Happy Motoring!

I've seen quite a few here in Baltimore, although the people who ask me about it generally say that they've never seen them before...I guess I'm just looking harder for them. On a roadtrip to the Midwest, I found that most people had neither seen nor heard of them. There was one guy on a ferry with me to Kelley's Island, Ohio (anyone have prior claim to First Cooper on Kelley's Island? There's an obscure sighting!) who said that my car had become too common -- he'd already seen two others that day!

I saw two parked, one in front of the other here in the Old Port, and the "Fish and Co." restaurant. There was quite a gathering of people!

On our trip north from Ventura County to San Simeon, Big Sur, Carmel, Pebble Beach, and Monterey, not many had ever seen one or knew what it was. I did see a black with white top parked near Cannery Row, which made my day! That was the only MINI we saw for 790 miles. When people asked and I told them, "MINI Cooper" they just looked blankly at us- had no clue what that meant like I was speaking Turkish or something. Then I figured out that mentioning "BMW" to those blank stares gave them peace of mind since they knew what that was. It was strange. Some people did know and were glad to speak with us about it though. There's a BRG, white top, bonnet stripes in the parking lot next to ours at work (Townsgate Rd in Westlake Village), does it belong to anyone here? I'm so tempted to leave them a note just to say "Hi fellow MINI owner".

I doubt you will see any near or around Grand Island Nebraska!

Although I have MINI dealers both 100 miles east (Nashville) and 100 miles west of me (Memphis), I still have a perfect record: Have never seen a MINI driving on the road although I've seen two on car carriers.

It isn't like I haven't tried... I'm in Memphis once every two weeks and just completed a 1700 mile round trip to New Orleans and Houston that lasted a week. I'm not disappointed... The MINI is a very special car and I'd like to drive mine for a while before they become too common (ie. the New Beetle).
