R50/53 Scratched rear passenger glass on conv.

Scratched rear passenger glass on conv.
Has anyone experienced scratching of the right rear passenger glass on a 2005 MCSc? Have had the car for two weeks and just found the scratches yesterday. The scratches are circular and about 3 - 4 inch in diameter. They appear to be fresh, and are able to be felt as well as seen.

Anyone with similar problems?

Yes. It's a well known problem. Not sure about the solution.
