hydralic shock info

Does any one have info on hydralic shocks for my 2004 Mini "S". I live in Chicago and the weather changes quite often...plenty of snow...creates plenty of pot holes. I use my car all year round and want to know if there are shocks that fit this situation to raise and lower the car.I have already added a body kit to my Mini. I am looking for coils to stiffen the ride to prevent from scraping the bottom of my fender.
Or if anyone has any ideas on how to solve the snow and pothole issues so I am drive my Mini all year round with the bodykit on it.
Thank you!

Don't have any information for you except for this....

I know it's your car and all but Please don't put hydraulics or air bags in you Mini. Either option will make the car handle well, like a Truck.

If you need to raise and lower the car get a good quality coilover. Another option would be the correct size tires or wheel offset to keep them "inside" the fender.
