MINI Trip Planning

Just wondered how many of you are aware of MINI's free trip planning service. You just call "ASKMINI" and select the roadside assist option. Tell them the start city and where you will be stopping along the way. A few days later a nice spiral bound booklet with maps and points of interest along the way appears in your mailbox.

Really neat. And thanks MINI...

Hmm, sounds like MINI-branded AAA service, to me. Still, I gotta give this a try! Thanks for the tip! BTW, where did you first hear about this?

Cheers,
Matthew Z.

Matthew,

We have used this service twice now and it is a neat way to document travels. And you can't beat the price!! I'm not sure where we first heard about this. But it wasn't at the dealership. They were surprised when we showed them the map booklet we received. It appears to be AAA like, but bound in MINI livery...

Yes it is free, comes with Roadside Assistance. And yes RA is provide by AAA for MINI USA. The perks are listed in the fold out Roadside Assistance card that came in the owners packet.

But I forgot to try it out while planning for the Dragon.
