Hello I live in MI and drive my 2003 MC daily and after 2 years my front Aero kit bumper has taken quite a beating. I am interested in getting one thats already painted Indi Blue and used is fine. Can anyone Help? Trying to see if I can get one this way before ordering a new one and having to have it painted as well. Thanks

 

Most good body shops will not charge you too much to have you bring in your car and get the front clip painted with a fresh coat. You might make out better to do it that way. Have you gotten a quote yet? I would recommend that first before dealing with shipping and pricing a new/newer bumper. Good luck

I will go to a shop later in the week to get a quote. The only thing I wasnt sure about is if the old paint had to be stripped away sort of speak. So of the imperfections I have go through the paint all the way to the plastic. I will be going to the same shop that replaced my bumper cover from a rear end accident second time I've been hit in the rear. Thanks I will post what I find

 

Good luck...I would say they should be able to take care of you...I might end up having to do the same with the IB S that I'm picking up here soon...the Aero Kit on the front has taken a pounding over the miles...doesn't look bad, but you notice it when you're right up on it, and see all the rock chips that allow the white to show through from the plastic.

 

I was quoted about $180 to paint a stock bumper. Same price if it was primed, or painted a different color. Should be between 150-200 bucks.

 

I would image it would be very hard to find a used Aero bumper, let a lone in the color you want. Most people sell stock bumpers to upgrade to an Aero bumper. I've been looking for a BRG Aero bumper for the longest time but it seems as though I might have to buy one and get it painted.
