Only a few more days...
Everyone,
This was sent out to everyone that has registered to date but I wanted to post it here as well in the event you don't receive and email.
With about a week to go we wanted to pass along some information before you all hit
the road to the Dragon.
Registration Pick-up and hours
You'll be able to pick up your registration materials, shirts, etc. at the Fontana
Recreation Center (same place where the Welcome Dinner and Chili Cook Off will be
held) at the following times:
Thursday May 5th: 3:30pm - 7pm
Friday May 6th: Noon - 2pm AND 5pm - 7pm
Saturday May 7th: 9am - Noon AND 4pm - 4:30pm
We'll also be at the Parade gathering at Fontana Dam from 7:30am - 8:30am handing
out the registration cards (for your additional registration materials please come
by the Rec Center during the above times)
Note: The Rec Center is also called the Adventure Center on the Fontana Maps.
Giveaways
While not a complete list be sure to take a look at the great giveaways and vendors who will be attending each of the dinners by clicking HERE
Things to Bring
+ FRS or GMRS 2-way radio tuned to Channel 7 subchannel 21
+ Food for your cabin, snacks for the drives, and something for the Chili Cook Off
Pot Luck
+ Sunscreen and bug spray
+ Clothes for all conditions (warm, rainy, and cool)
+ Camera
Panoramic Photo
If you haven't already done so be sure to pre-order a panoramic photo. The
resulting photo will be 10" high by 60" long (that's 5 ft long) and include as many
MINIs as can be packed into the area in front of Fontana Dam Friday afternoon at
3pm. Information on the photo can be found by clicking HERE.
Please note that even if you don't purchase a photo PLEASE come and get in the
photo! Given the number of people and MINIs coming this year it will make an
awesome photo.
In closing be sure to drive safely (within your limits and the local laws) on your
way and while at the event. Let's keep it fun and safe for all attending. Let’s
motor to the Dragon!
See you soon!

While I cannot be there will all of you this year I want to wish everyone attending a great time in advance. May the weather and the local (TN) police cooperate. Please be safe and have some fun.
