I'm looking to replace the tires on my stock X-lites.

I've narrowed it down to the following:

215/50/16 Dunlop Direzza DZ101

or the

205/50/16 Yokohama AVS ES100

I realize that the Dunlop tire is fairly new, but I still would like some opinions on these tires. I would be using them for daily driving, and for some auto cross.

most of the time it's just me in the car. Sometimes my wife with me. Only once in a while my dog in the back. Never any rear passengers, and I've got stock suspension.

The ES100 is a very good overall 3-season tire. Great in the wet, and quite good in the dry. I've never been a fan of the nature of Dunlop tires, but I can't say that experience is relevant for this new tire they have.
