Market Research - Rear Seat Delete Kits?
We atRearSeatDelete.com are working on a new product for the Mini Coopers. We will have a Rear Seat Delete kit that replaces your 02-05 rear seat assemblies with a flat panel style unit to provide a significant weight reduction and allow more storage space.
Our seat delete replacements are constructed of black ABS Plastic molded to contour the interior where needed, Covered in either matching carpet, or in color matched padded vinyl (to match the seating).
Most Cooper owners have found the back seats to be useless and prefer the 2 seater option.
Prices are sketchy depending on how the first prototypes turn out, but estimated cost is $89 to $199 roughly.
