Anyone have race seats in their daily driver?

I'm seriously thinking about installing a non-reclining race seat (the Sparco Fighter) to help with track days, but I'm worried about comfort over long drives or bumpy streets. I know it's obviously a serious comfort/convenience trade-off, but is it livable or intolorable on the street?

And, yes, I know about the hybrid sport seats (like the Sparco Milanos or Torinos, but they just don't provide that much more support than the stock sport seats to be worth the cost.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I have one. I like it better than stock ones as a daily driving seat.

I'm using the Fighters.

A drive more then an hour gets pretty uncomfortable for me which $ucks because I have to drive two hours to the closest track . I got them for track days also, and love them for that, but as soon as the season is over they are coming out.

I had to pad them up a bit, which helped greatly. Just some foam padding placed under the seat and back cushions. They are comfortable for the short ride to town, but running errands all day in them gets painful. This is mostly in my upper back due to what I think is the seat rounding my shoulders.

My current car (2004 Saleen N2O Focus) has MOMO Racing seats. They are the most comfortable seats I've ever sat in.

Ive had 2 cars with full race seats, cages, and harnesses as daily drivers. I didnt mind, but most people that had to ride any distances. My best suggestion is to save up a little more $$ and buy a nice Recaro, or MOMO that reclines. It's worth the extra money, and they are amazing seats.
