I have just aquired a full interior from a friend of mine (he's selling his 03 so he said I could have his heated leather seats)

We were going to swap my 02 MC seats for his 03 leather...is this an exact swap or do I have to make any changes

Also, do I just unplug the connector under the seats for the airbag? unhook the battery?

One last thing, how hard is it to do the heated seat retrofit (I know I have to purchase a $150 kit from MINI) but, what I'm wondering is how hard is it to do the wiring spicing? or should I just take it somewhere and eat the $100+ to have it done
