We have a production date of early- to mid-May and delivery hopefully by early June. I am going NUTS waiting for my Mini!!

There is a support group, you are in it.

 

I hate to tell you this but it only gets worse as it gets closer to delivery time. My car should be at the VDC on Saturday and I am hoping to be able to pick it up from the dealer the following weekend. I have been waiting three months now and the days are going by so slow.

I am not sure if being a member of NAM is a help or a hinderance. Reading these posts by all these people having a blast in their cars just makes me want mine more. However, seeing the other members of the February build thread getting their cars now helps me to see that it is real and about to happen to me as well. I can't wait!

I probably shouldn't ask but what is the usual wait time. We ordered a MCS a few weeks back and as of yet....nothing. Still under order status. We were told late April??

It depends on many different factors like your dealer's allocation numbers for each month, factory production schedules, shipping schedules, East Coast or West Coast delivery, distance from VDC to dealer, dealer installed accessories, etc. Recently the factory has been building the cars ahead of schedule like mine but then mine sat on the dock for over a week waiting for a ship. Some people recently have been getting their cars recently in under a month while some California dealers have huge waiting lists with waits nearly a year long. Your dealer's estimate is probably pretty accurate. Though with my car it looks like it is coming in about a month earlier than what the dealer had estimated.

The best place to check for production status is the automated system at 1-866-ASK-MINI. The Owner's Lounge at MINIUSA.com is usually way behind actual status. Also, you can follow the build threads to learn all sorts of ways to track you car and drive yourself crazy.
