Retrofit All4, has anyone attempted it?

I managed to pick up a bargain F54 Clubman and they only thing it lacks is all4. I would be tempted to look at retrofitting All4 and wondered if anyone had tried it or looked into it for the F60/F54 platform?

Based on the integration of the control systems, I would think a retrofit would be prohibitively expensive and time consuming, if I could be done at all.

Not speaking from personal experience. However, I have an F60 with All4, and there is no way I would want to retrofit the system into a car without it. If you really want All4, fix the car as is, then sell it to buy an All4 model.

where’s the fun in that? From what we can see so far the majority of it is mechanical. But let’s see I have a friend who looked into it previously and worked it out so will get the download from him

I'm definitely curious to see if you can get it done and worked out. I agree that the majority is likely mechanical, but there is also the system integration part. Maybe the system integration only requires some wiring and coding?
