Changed oil filter housing seal, now oil pours out!

I have an 05 MCS, just changed the oil filter housing seal and first start up, oil poured out. Did I get the bolts too tight or not right enough? Used three fingers to tighten the ratchet until it was snug and stopped. I've worked on a lot of cars and changed numerous seals/gaskets with very little issue. I've only messed with a few seals that fit in a channel like this one, so definitely user error just not sure which way I errored lol.

Turns out it's the oiler cooler seals, anyone else had issues with this? I ordered two new seals and will try replacing them again.
