Boost leak from fuel injector

Hi All, i have a 15lb pulley on my 03 MCS. Over time I noticed that the car has lost power so I did standard maintenance (new sparkplugs, coilpack, tensioner, engine mounts, bpv, etc) and it still felt pretty much the same. I logged a max boost 12 psi via OBD. I nfally did a smoke test via the TMAP senor (I did block off the air intake and noticed smoke coming from the number 2 injector. Has anoyone seen this before? I ordered new injector o rings.

O-Rings will parish over time and can leak, so this is possible.

Motor On!

Did you order genuine MINI/BMW o-rings? I'm not sure if it's true, but I've heard there can be (small) size discrepancies with aftermarket injector o-rings.

Not to hijack the thread, but is the TMAP or MAP sensor where everyone is putting smoke into the system while testing? Or is there a more preferable location?

I bought my JCW 380cc injector refresh kit from: "mrinjector.us" online several years ago. Perfect fit new O-Rings and screens.
Right or wrong I've always done a smoke test from the PCV, detaching/blocking off the air inlet.

I'll try this too next time I test. Thanks!
