Opinions on refinishing wheels, which ones

I need some opinions on refinishing wheels for my ride. Im stock height and not going lower. I just picked up aero side skirts that are going out to paint.

This is it currently on 17” Enkei Bortex RPM2. I don’t love the color and they are a pain to clean web spokes. They are light from why I read (16.9 lbs) and sit ok. I haven’t taken them off bht I’m guessing the offset must be et42 based on how they look.

I loved this look and wanted to stick with an OEM+ vibe. I also like the color matched wheels and the machined lip pulls back to
some of the chrome accents.

So I bought some R98 wheels with the intention of refinishing them like this (these
are not mine). The cost to split and powdercoat them is pretty high for what they are
worth. They are some of my favorites, but I will also need to budget for 8mm spacers to get them closer to flush. I also have a s-lites which are boat anchors.

Alternately, here is a crude recolouring of the wheels on my car. I can powder them body color, machine the recess around the perimeter, and custom make a carbon fiber inset for the center cap with the MINI logo etched in? Much cheaper to powder 1pc wheels and I don’t hate them, or the fact they are lighter and don’t require spacers…I kinda prefer the 2pc R98 some days but all said and done that direction will cost quite a bit more.

This is the actual wheel.
