New, NEVER installed Alta MCS/JCW BOV spring upgrade. Got this for my 2012 R56 (N18) and never installed. 
For those who don't know, this is designed to replace the spring in the factory BOV/BPV with something a little stiffer. It helps with holding boost between shifts so you carry that boost into the next gear. 
Unsure of how well it works myself since I never installed, but I've been told it's a great cheap upgrade for the daily commuter that occasionally likes to carve canyons. Fits BOTH manual and auto trans.
