Front Wheel Arch Headlight Access Cover
One of my wheel arch headlight access covers went missing.
I'm not sure how it happened, but wanted to replace it. On the realoem site it shows the wheel arches but no part number is listed for the individual cover itself. I hunted for a long time on Ebay for a junkyard part, but could never find one unless it was part of the entire wheel arch assembly. No one wanted to separate the cover from the assembly. I happened across the cover listed separately for the F55 body so thought at $10 I would give it a shot. Sure enough it worked. Looks like BMW actually goes to the parts bins for the F55 to use on the F54. Part number in case you need it is 51772751776. These can be found and procured on Ebay for around $10 including shipping.....
Has a little different design but works and we have them in bremmen parts. F55-F60 and fits old R60 /R61
These things fly off, you have to twist them till they lock into the fabric, then they are fine. I guess when people change bulbs or do work on the front they dont twist and pop off.
