If you go with the plumb-back version, you won't even get the noises! I ran a Forge valve with a diverter plate on my Clubman. Never had any issue with it, and never opened it up for over 100,000 miles.

with the k04 turbo it absolutely gives the turbo alot more whistle and a very noticeable distinctive pachew noise when letting off throttle.. here's the last one I was running and it's hard to hear as it's not a bov noise but you hear it diverting the air back in.. you can hear best after the 1-2 gear shift.. bov are absolutely garbage for our engines as they only cause the turbo to have to run harder to compensate for that , I've literally experimented with numerous bov's , dv's along with aftermarket wastegates to find what actually is most efficient.. and oem wastegate with turbosmart plumback on the k04 RIPPED..
