I have a 2008 Mini Cooper S. I bought it used a few years ago and have been working out all of the bugs in it. I'm currently getting a "boost efficiency" error code and have been trying to pinpoint what might be causing it. While going through and trying to determine any issues with my vacuum lines, I saw that there's this connector on the backside of the intake manifold, driver's side, directly below the cabin hose,
and I can't for the life of me figure out what's supposed to be connected to it, can't find anything on the car that isn't connected anywhere, and can't find any information on line telling me what should be plugged onto it. Since it's barbed, I'm assuming it's a rubber hose, but yeah I have no clue if it's relevant, or what should be on it. Any help suffices.
Gotcha, that's kind of what I was thinking, or that it may just be some sort of vent. Since I bought it used, and some things were already jacked around with, I wasn't sure and couldn't find anything explaining it, so I appreciate the quick answer on it.
