Looking for help with an A/C evaporator in Atlanta area
Hey everyone,
I have a 2013 Mini Cooper S that needs an A/C evaporator replaced. Local shops quoted me $2700 — $4300 for the job. Are there any local techs near Atlanta, GA that would be willing to do this more affordably? Thanks

I recently found that my evaporator is leaking. It's huge job to replace. The entire dash must be removed and the steering column must be dropped just to access the heating and A/C housing where the evaporator lives. Given the high cost of having the work done by a reputable shop, I plan to do it myself next winter as I live in Houston.
