Cargo cover rattling

I have a 2017 Cooper S 4-door, and the cargo cover rattles over bumps and rough roads. I have replaced the two rubber pieces on the cover and added felt pads where the cover rests on the support frame. This has lessened the sound, but not stopped it. Does anyone have any tricks to help? (I was wondering if a support to stiffen the cover might help.)

Wish I had an answer for you. I had a 2017 F55 too, and the cargo cover noise was a regular occurrence on certain roads. I tried felt and it didn't help. Once I sprayed white lithium grease in some spots and it seemed to help for a bit. But it came back. Oddly enough, it never happened on my current F56 with the same design.

Lots of people say to replace the rubber buffers and then used gummi fledge

I already replaced the bumpers, but the gummi fledge was a new one. Not having that on hand, I tried 303 Rubber Seal Protectant. It's not a 100% solution, but it is a measurable improvement. Thanks!

Glad that worked.
