R60 A few codes and some bucking at higher speeds?
A few codes and some bucking at higher speeds?
Hello again.
I have been trying to knock out some codes that popped up over the winter. I was able to take care of the gas level problem by replacing the fuel pump but still have a Fuel Level Sensor code (P0461). More concerning, I noticed as I get to a higher speed, say 60mph, and need to hit the gas a but harder to move into a lane or pass, I get a little bucking. It's a quick 2 or 3. It's doesn't trigger an engine light, but a scan did give me an E738 code pointing to the TCM and, specifically, the crankshaft position sensor.
I can easily get the car to higher speeds without the bucking by easing the pedal. It's only when I "push it" do I get the bucking. Any thoughts before I bring it to my mechanic?
Basic OBD2:
P0461 (Permanent) - Fuel Level Sensor "A" Circuit Range/Performance
Heater & air conditioning:
E738 - Manufacturer-specific code
