I ran into an absolutely stunning R52 Sidewalk with R105s in Vancouver BC in July and just came across the photo again. I'm curious if it happens to belong to a NAM member and I'm also curious if power fold mirrors were common on later cycle R52s, I barely ever see cars equipped with them in North America. I'm more familiar with R53s since that's what I own, and I know that they never were standard in NA, and were very rarely optioned. And btw, I can't wait to join the R52 club, that and the GP3 are the only Minis I haven't driven and I suspect that an R52 in summertime sun might provide peak smiles per gallon. Hopefully the owner of this beautiful car kept my note for future reference.
