R56 Check engine light when full gas only.
Check engine light when full gas only.
Hi,
I have a problem with the car, I would like to explain in case you would have some advice because I don't know what to do anymore.
I recently changed the engine (overhauled to new) and finished the break-in.
Before I changed the engine I had already done a stage2 map, very quiet in terms of output due to the fact that it is an automatic (n18).
After the map (with the old engine) I had no problems, just we noticed it started to eat too much oil so I decided to overhaul it.
The problem is the check engine light when I am full throttle and let it change on its own.
The warning lights are 2c58 (charging pressure control - switch off as consequence) and 2da1 (exhaust camshaft sensor)
I have already changed exhaust side phase actuator, exhaust side cam position sensor and also changed the chain tensioner (the one they used was slightly shorter, probably not original), however I still have the problem.
I changed the turbo aswell because we thought it could have be the turbo (it wasn't original) and changed the diverter valve too.
We checked that the engine is correctly in phase, but I don't know what to do anymore....
(If i rev to high rpms in neutral gear, nothing happens)
What else do you think I could check/do?
