Hello all,
I have a 2017 Mini Cooper JCW. Today on the way back from running an errand I got a loud squeaking sound that sounds like metal on metal. It is coming from the front passenger side, possibly suspension related. It started after going over some rumble strips to go around someone. anyone else have this issue or have any ideas of what could be broken? Also I have a video of the sound from earlier today. only happens around 50 or faster speeds.

 

A pebble caught between the rotor and dust shield can sound like Armageddon sometimes.

found out what the issue was. the speaking sound was coming from the interior roof control panel. the plastic bezel had came loose. all I had to do was push it back in and the noise stopped. Never a dull moment
