Emissions warning light

I have a 2016 mini s and warning light is on emissions warning. Anyone else have this happen?

Have you checked to make sure your gas cap is on snug?

well light came back on and Mini pearl is in the hospital overnight needed a vapor canister cylinder or solenoid? Not sure but part is $264 + labor

I know the fuel vent purge valve is a common problem and I believe they extended the warranty on that for 10 years and it is a very easy replacement on top of the engine. I assume that is not what they are referring to.

the part is called Vapor canister purge solenoid. If there is a warranty I was not aware. I bought this car used 2 years ago, I was not told anything about a warranty?!

My read of that document is that all cars are covered up to 10 years, and cars in certain states are covered up to 15 years. I would bring it to your dealer's attention and see what they have to say.
