Seat covers ripping

i have a 02 mcs with leatherette and for the second time my leatherette is ripping at the seams on the left thigh boslter. Im not a stocky man by any means but tall. Does anyone know how to prevent this. I do not want to keep replaceing them every 15k.

The solution I came up with is, I slide the seat back before I get out. Then slide back into position when I git in. Replaced one seat cover already. I'll probably wear out the seat rail next.
