Driver Window

So I thought changing out the driver-side window regulator would solve my issue with the window not going up or down.
It has not. I tested the motor before I put the new regulator back in the door. The motor turned as it should.
I reinstalled everything and pushed the switch, you could hear the motor turning but the window was not going up or down.
Open to suggestions as to what is going on.
06 Mini

Thanks,

If its the motor the gear could be stripped and just spinning.

I thought that also. When I tested the motor outside the regulator the outer gear was turning. Unless the interior gears are stripped enough they can turn the outer gear but under stress, it only spins internally.
Will have to take it apart and dig a little deeper.
THanks for the response.

Thank you.
I'm going to take out the regulator and motor and see what is going on in the inside of the motor.
Appreciate all the feedback. worse case, I'll order another regulator with the motor.
Thanks,

Buy a regulator with the motor installed. Attempting to replace just the motor is a real PITA. Don't ask me how I know.
