Question GP3... Can the spats, spoiler and front bumper be changed

.. A good friend has a GP3 that he'll be getting rid of when he moves overseas... would sell to me for a great price.

Question to the GP3 people in the know... and hope that you can take a moment to help me with some questions.

Can the Side 'spats' be removed and regular wheel arches be installed from 2021 JCW?

Can the monster rear GP wing be replaced easily with a 2021 Cooper-S rear spoiler?

Can the GP Front Bumper assembly be substituted with one from a JCW-hatch or JCW-Clubbie of the same-Gen?

Lastly... Will any of the same-Gen 17" or 18" factory wheels fit over the GP3 brakes??

Of Course, all the removed parts would be cleaned, waxed, wrapped and put into storage to keep the car whole if it should be sold or need to be returned to stock.... if they become 'collectable' in the future.

Thank you in advance for any help.

Cheers and happy motoring.

-Yes, BUT there is welded tabs on the body, that would have to have body work done to remove them.

Can the monster rear GP wing be replaced easily with a 2021 Cooper-S rear spoiler?
-Yes but Why?

Can the GP Front Bumper assembly be substituted with one from a JCW-hatch or JCW-Clubbie of the same-Gen?
-I dont know the answer to this one but it should be able to be done.

Lastly... Will any of the same-Gen 17" or 18" factory wheels fit over the GP3 brakes??
- Yes most will but you need to be specific on the model but pretty much every 18" OEM wheel will fit.

Thank you for the reply and info.

Wish they would have made a JCW F56 with the high output engine … silly to me that it only made it to the Clubby and Countryman … and GP3.

Are the GP3 brake calipers larger than the JCW? Do any 17” wheels fit the GP3 brakes ?

They are the same brakes as the other JCWs the only one that got something different was the GP2 Brakes got M-Car brakes.

Super helpful! I'm interested in getting a GP3 and the only thing I don't like is the oversized fender flares. Honestly, I think I could live with the exposed tabs (the rear only has two; don't know if the front has any at all).

The tabs that hold the rear spats are just double sided taped on to the body so you can definitely remove them, there is also some factory PPF there you would likely remove or it will look odd. I had to restick mine as one side had started to separate, probably the blistering Aussie sun lol

yes you can replace front bumper from the 2022-2024 jaw on the gp3. if you go on duell-ag site they have a pic of one the did. or you can go to outmororing and they sell the kit for 2,400.00
