Need Scan Tool Recommendation for 2019 Cooper S

Hi,

Now that my 2019 Cooper S is coming up on 5 years old this summer, figure it's probably a good time to get a good scan tool for it.

Assume it's good to get one made for BMW's or are there ones made for MINI's?

Anyone have any recommendations?

Thanks,

Mark

I use our schwaben scan tool. Its pull up the MINI codes, unlike the generic OBD2 scan tools; https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...d-q-and-a.html

I and many others use a Foxwell scanner (NT710 in my case), but I also use Bimmerlink in parallel and I even have my hands in ISTA (which is a project, don't ask, but if you can figure your way into it it is definitely an eye-opener for a thing or two).

I have also recently caught a mention in another MINI forum that Autophix is not a bad option, usually at a lower price point (though by how much I don't know) on Amazon. And then there is the Schwaben, already mentioned above.

Hope this is useful.
