I spilled soup with fish sauce in the trunk of my 2015 Mini cooper 5 door hatchback and I'm trying to make the smell go away. I removed the toolbox and the crevice has a velcro strap to keep it in place. I want to clean the velcro strap as it was drenched in the soup and has a lingering smell. I was wondering if there is any way to remove the velcro without having to cut it. It's being held down by the metal part and screw that I couldn't detach. Any help would be appreciated!
