Thought about using emails and PM's to ask this. Then I figured it was of interest to every club member so, being the natural instigator that I am , I decided to use the forum.

I, and I know others, are curious as to what's happening to the revamped edition of the club bylaws that was extensively discussed at the last M2C2 meeting 7 weeks ago. I know, at the meeting, a committee was appointed to do the rewrite. Are they close to being ready to be presented to the club members for an approval vote? If not, as a concerned club member, could I be so bold as to ask what the hold up is?
I've been a member of this club for about a year and a half now and these bylaws have been a topic of discussion since before I joined. Isn't it about time we progressed beyond them? :smile:

 

From what I understand, the VP is working on getting them out to the review committee..

Are there any updates to the updated by-laws?

 

The Bylaws Committee (organized at the December Quarterly Meeting) is actively working on the bylaws. Once they have finished writing in all the comments offered at that time, we will present them to the general membership to be voted on.

I'll keep you updated as I know more.
