I have a 2020 (model year) Cooper S JCW but it was built in June of 2019. How do I know of my DME meds to be bench unlocked?

 

Who are you using for the tune? Reach out to @Lou@Prototype-R . I think he has the tools that can help you figure it out.

 

Thanks, I was thinking of using BM3 and getting it tinted through Jordan tuned.

 

I would reach out to the tuner and ask. I would also reach out to a few others to see what they all have to say about it. Don't tie yourself down with a specific tuner. Go through an interview process with each of them, and go with the one you feel most comfortable with. A custom tune will be a process, and you'll want to go with the person that gives you the best service.

 

I mean bootmod3 can check for you. Although I find it strange that my 2016 says it needs to be DME unlocked.
