R60 Short Shifter Compatibility

Anyone know if short shifters for the R55-R59 are compatible with the R60?

I know the Helix will work - because it just lengthens the original shifter. But what about options on the market that replace the whole shifter? Specifically I am referring to the Cravenspeed Adjustable Short Shifter, and a similar product made by Torque Solutions.

Would love to hear if anyone has tried these with a countryman... I have absolutely scoured the internet and cannot find a reliable answer. Please help!!

Yep, they should work. The how-to I wrote for installing the Cravenspeed in my R60 is here:

Thank you so much for the reply - I had already seen this walkthrough but really needed confirmation that it was on a countryman.

Today Cravenspeed emailed me back and told me its not compatible this afternoon. Is there anything that functions improperly here? I wonder why they would tell me not to buy it when it works flawlessly on your r60.

I looked through my emails and the part number listed from when I ordered is CRMC-0017-C, which I guess was the R60/61 version and doesn't show up for sale on their site.

Sorry, that sucks!

Though this page indicates that model number works for R55-61:

I really don't remember it being a countryman specific product, but it's been a decade at this point.

Actually I ordered one last night from WayMotorworks - they have an r60 version and assured me that it would work

Good luck! It's a pain to install, but so so worth it.
