Low Octane vs High Octane

My R55 is the base model. Having fun driving it.
I have been feeding her with High Octane.
Since she doesn't have a turbo or is not being raced, just a daily driver with a long (80 mile+) trip once or twice a month.

Am I wasting money with the high octane?
How will she run on the low octane that I put in the other cars?

Thank you,

From the owners manual:

Premium is required, but you can run Regular in a pinch. Not sure if there is a Costco in your area, or near by, but I bought a Costco membership just for the gas. My last fill-up, I saved $1.22 per gallon just by filling up at Costco vs the local Mobil station. At a 13 gallon fill up, that's a $16 savings. Costco gas is "Top Tier" too. Figure a Costco membership is $80 for the year, and the gas fill up savings pays for the membership after 5 tanks. Anything after that is bonus.

WOW. That last sentence is enough to keep buying the high octane.

For me, the membership was a no brainer. The Costco gas station is on the way to the office, and I drive maybe 20k miles per year, most of that for work. I get reimbursement for miles for work, so I make out like a bandit. Especially when I'm getting 30-35 miles per gallon.
