I just added this mod to my Mini.
But unfortunately I can't seem to get the "hood open" light to go out on the dash.

Any suggestions from those who have completed this mod successfully are greatly appreciated.

But I was really hoping to keep it looking factory.
I taped over the warning light and picked up a cheap periscope from harbor freight.

All good now
