Fried my ecu with broken ground wire attached to the engine casing. Fixed the wire , got replacement ecu from eBay and had it reprogrammed to match my car.

I am getting some residual codes from the ecu’s previous life such as brake light, abs, anti theft disabled, TCM communication error (I have a manual and tcm applies to auto).

How do I clear the codes? I have a foxwell 510 that can clear adaptations but not sure it can clear residual codes?

 

If you figure it out, let me know! I too have some CAN communication errors in my ECU that I have not been able to clear. Nothing flashes warnings at me, and everything seems to be working OK, so I've come to just ignore them. Would be nice if they weren't there, though...
