Help?!?
my wife’s CM today went in for an oil change. Shop says oil pan DRY. Dipstick show correct oil level.

I don’t understand how both can be true at the same time.

car is 4h away from in OKC; any ideas on what might be wrong (besides an engine that may be fubar)? Car runs, but is smoking some (white), no engine lights, no other changes noted by wife.

maybe stuck/clogged PVC? But.. still pan dry, stick shoes correct.

hopefulky someone can give me a direction to troubleshoot!

answer may simply be to tow it to Mini dealer and deal with it Monday.. I’m hopeful there’s a better answer I’m ignorant of!

Hello, Did you find out what happened? Sounds like a bad sensor and something damaged the pan or created a leak?
