Hello,
I need help to price my Clubman, It's 2011 Hot chocolate Clubman S, 6 speed manual, slick top with comfort access, rain sensor, bluetooth HD radio, no nav, 138K miles, cloth non-heated seats.
In last 2 years, I got a lot things done to it.
New clutch, flywheel, rear main seal and Wavetrack LSD.
Bilsten B6 shocks and struts.
19mm rear sway bar.
4 new injectors and HPFP.
Valve cover.
Both vanos solenoids.
Timing chain guides.
Water pump, belt tensioner and water pipe.
25w gray housing OEM xenon headlights.
JCW steering wheel with red stitching and shift ****.
Black trim grill, headlight rings and door handles.
Noise maker and intercooler muffler delete, stage one tune.
CTS Intercooler.
No rust, car has small dings there and there, but looks great from 20 feet
Looks clean, and a lot of maintenance items have been completed. With records for each of those items, should help with sale. Based on the pictures, looks like you're in the desert South West? Should mean no rust issues.
I would guess it would sell for ~$8,500 private party. At he end of the day, its still an 11 year old Mini.
Thank you, njaremka! My guesstimate was about the same ... if someone buys it, they'll pay less than I paid for all maintenance and will get a free car
My 2011 Clubman S, Automatic, no nav, leather, was totaled in September. The insurance company valued the car at $11,000 and change (that includes the sales tax that I'l need to pay to replace it) and I was paid that amount as the cost to repair exceeded $18K. (there's photos elsewhere here) I had fewer miles than you (89K IIRC) and was in similar condition although the tires were getting old and were going to need to be replaced soon.
I just bought a 2012 Clubman S, nav, no leather for $10K from a private party in Florida (photo in the thread where the pic of my dead clubbie resides)
But... used car prices are falling after the huge run-up during and through the pandemic Manuals are a bit harder to sell, but people will buy them, it just may take longer. With the mileage I would uspect that you can get roughly $9K or so, maybe a bit more since it looks like it's in pretty good shape and your description shows it was well taken care of and the big things (chains/guides, clutch) are done and won't be a problem for a long time.
Thank you for the info! I'm on the fence ... having spent so much on this car and sell it doesn't seem too wise. But I just got X3 M40i and Mini just sits.
