Not sure if you want to hear the whole story but here it goes. Four years ago I was looking for a commuter car to get great gas mileage and was fun to drive. I always wanted a mini Cooper, so I looked across the country for a low mileage vehicle. Not only did it need to be low mileage but I wanted a single owner who was not a kid and one that had never been in an accident. The reason being kids tend to trash cars by driving them hard and not maintaining them. So I looked nationwide and found this Mini in North Carolina at a dealership. It had 36,000 miles on it in 2018. They gave me the owners contact information so I called them on the phone. I spoke with both the husband and the wife. She was 71 years old and bought the car when she was 55. She was a librarian. He was an attorney and the reason they were getting rid of it was because he had a stroke, and could not get in and out of the car very well. he told me they never had it out of fourth gear. I will send you his picture later. So I bought the car for $7600 even though it was overpriced because it had a good history. Then I had it shipped out to Washington state for $1100. I will also send you the Carfax that I pulled up at that time. I needed to have a reliable vehicle so I decided to tear into it and replace all of the possible items that could fail. I should also mention that with the exception of two items every part was replaced with a genuine mini Cooper parts. The aftermarket parts I used were an all aluminum Mishimoto radiator that will not leak like the stock radiator and has twice the cooling capacity. The other part was an ATI fluid damper. Speaking of fluids, I replaced all fluids purchased at BMW of Spokane. That includes super charger fluid, power steering fluid, brake fluid, transmission fluid, and coolant. I only use Amsoil synthetic motor oil. Now, for a list of parts that I can remember. Again, all parts are genuine, mini Cooper/BMW. Water pump, thermostat, radiator hoses, oil cooler, oil cooler hoses, oil, cooler, gaskets, idler pulley, tensioner pulley, oil sender, oil housing gaskets, all brake cylinders, all brand new brake rotors, brake pads, four stock continental run flat tires, rear hatch switch, A pillar covers, right window regulator, front crankshaft seal, stock accelerator pedal, rubber floor mats, tire pressure sensor switch. I also purchased a brand new clutch and clutch plate plus a throwout bearing to have on hand since I didn't know how many miles were on the clutch. Another set of tires, tools, and fluids are included in the purchase. Message with phone number and I will text videos etc. 

CONS: needs headliner replaced, AC compressor coil installed (part included), electric door lock motors replaced, and reflash computer. 

MECHANICALLY-great condition 
COSMETICALLY- some clear coat missing on intercooler scoop, needs headliner, detailing. 
ELECTRONICALLY-probably needs computer re-flash. 

When I pulled off the supercharger, the fluid was completely clear. I obviously replaced it with the proper fluid.
