So this happened

Back at the end of October I was on I-95 in the fast lane doing around 75 mph and a UPS trailer jumped in my lane out of the blue. (On this section of road, no trucks over 5 tons are allowed in the left two lanes). As I was going faster then the truck , I jump in the lane he just came over from and that’s when I saw why he jumped in front of me with no signal.
There were three approximately 6’ long square cylinders on n the road. I jammed on the breaks and just as I was about to strike one of the cylinders, I saw the back of the truck that had jumped in front of me and tried to slide in behind him.
Unfortunately I didn’t see that the trailer and a dolly to connect another trailer to and I slammed into the tire on the dolly and this is what happened

Luckily l found another pure silver r53 with a blown head gasket for 1100.00 down in VA and was able to get all the parts I needed to repair except the koni yellow shock, the wheel and the trac tire. I even was able to use the rims and tires for winter off of it.
if someone told me before this happened that I could tear this car apart and fix it in my driveway I would had said they were crazy.
low and behold the finished product

yes. It turned out that the cylinders were made of foam that flew out of someone’s truck but, at 60mph they looked like cement

They look like cement at 0 mph on my lap top. I'd have needed a change of underwear. Wow!
