Do I need to reprogram throttle body?

Just installed a new throttle body on my 2010 clubman S. Is it necessary to reprogram it or can I just leave the battery disconnected for awhile? If it does need to be reprogrammed, can any auto shop do it or does it have to be a mini dealership? I haven’t tried to start it yet I don’t want to mess anything up. Thanks

does not need to programmed or coded, as far as I know. I replaced mine about 7k kms ago with a new unit and never coded/programmed anything. ran fine instantly
