2011 Mini Cooper Countryman S

When I pop the sunroof open the rear passenger side pops but not the drivers.





When I try to side the sunroof open, the rear driver side pops but not the passenger.





Any ideas of how to fix this?

Should the rear pop open or not when I slide the windows open?

 

The rear should close again completely when you slide the roof open.
I believe it may be the linkage on the rear glass . My rear glass on a 2016 rattles when the they are just popped open and I think it is a screw that is loosening and yours finally unscrewed completely.There are 3 screws on each side of the rear glass that can been seen when sitting in the rear seat. Removing them will allow you to remove the rear glass and gain access to the linkage. This is my hypothesis on the issue , I was too lazy to take my glass out and investigate the rattle issue . After seeing your post I think I will make that effort soon.

I tried the re-calibration and now the rear section works correctly.

However it never moves forward when doing the re-calibration.

I have to push the close button several times to get it to close.
