F55/F56 downstream oxy sensor

downstream oxy sensor
tore front of car apart, didn't have wrench to remove sensor. decided to just leave in place, cut wire off & plug in new one & zip-tie probe out of way when the time comes. $180 is o.k. instead of free, better'n $740 @ Mini. when you got cat.less DP it's gonna repeat itself I think so....... I'll run this new sensor 'til I get CEL & go for it. gotta Forge DP & Mariokart's S.S. DP that I'll get around to. regardless there'll NEVER be a Downstream 02 Sensor

yeh, the one I got installed at Mini was $339 part & $400 test & labor = $739. never again. I got stupid & learned my lesson & how to take this jive outa the equation.just trying to plug it off & pay $0 but I figgered a way to do it easy on me for $180. gotta 18mm fine thread plug for MarioKart's S.S. DP that WILL go on eventually

what I was thnkin', when CEL goes off. & I got downstream oxy. sensor handy, I clip wire off cat.less DP, un-plug, plug in new one & zip-tie probe & wire on harness up near plug DONE ! will the CEL go out or will it have to be re-programmed or sumthin ? I wouldn't think so but thought I'd ask. Thanks, Stu
