Stalling/missing at idle

Hello everyone I have a 2014 mini Cooper S I am having an issue where I come to a red light and the idle drops down and sometimes stalls out. I replace the spark plugs and coils and I’m still having the issue. The car is not throwing any coats and the check engine light is off. From the searching I didn’t do it leads me to believe that it could be a carbon buildup issue so I scheduled an appointment to have that done at the local mini dealer but unfortunately I can’t get in until 16 June. There any other direction you may be able to point me to in the meantime while I wait?

Do you mean throttle body cleaning?
That and relearn the TPS might help.

When you say Carbon buildup, is sounds like you are saying intake valve carbon buildup.
Intake calve carbon buildup is not common with B46/B48 motors. Dealers dont do intake valve cleaning.

I was doing voice to text and I didn’t realize how bad my post came out. DETROIT TUNED is who I have my intake valve cleaning scheduled with not an actual mini dealership. I will look into the two things that you mentioned.
