I saw that for MY22, MINIs have a new, sleeker software interface to the infotainment system. I happened to randomly see that BimmerTech is willing to sell you the same update so I'm considering doing it for my MY20 F54 since, apparently, it can be installed on older models.

I also found an old forum post here for F55s that sounded promising but I am not sure if this still exists as I could not find this page and nothing is shown on the Mini website (https://mygarage.miniusa.com/).

Anyone tried this from BimmerTech, the dealer, or other means? At $299 I am not sure if it is worth it but it is tempting nonetheless.

I guess the other obvious question is - anyone seen if this available as a DIY? Saving a few $ is important but security is also important and who knows who is helping you remotely...
