Higher Temps

So I've noticed that on the 2013 R56 S i have that the temps got better with a Wagner intercooler upgrade but after installing one on my 2019 F56 S the temps seem slightly higher. Not dangerous and they don't keep rising. they seem to settle at anywhere between 220 F- 224 F at highway speeds and gets up to 230 F at a stoplight after mild driving. Everything seems connected fully and no leaks or pressure leaks or CELs. Should I be worried?

You are blocking more of your radiator, the IC is also giving off more heat due to its larger area.
Your combustion is now hotter causing more engine temp due to the better efficiency.
I thing a few degrees is normal.

Let the DME get used to the higher temps, see if it compensates the fan cycling.

Gotcha; you think a CAI and colder plugs would help compensate at all? or would that be negligible?

Cold Air Intake?
Unless you buy an Eventuri, you're already getting cold air with stock, the rest are a waste.

Drive a few days, see if it settles.

You did put all the parts back, right?

Quick story, in the late 80s, I worked at Pontiac dealer.
Couldn't figure out why the customer was overheating while driving, not stopped at lights.
Long story short, after 3 weeks of diagnosis: a small "spoiler" installed below the radiator was left off by the body shop allowing
moving air to not go up to the radiator.

So check again for any missing deflector, foam seal etc.
