Headlights w/DRL and High Beams

Hi guys,

I've tried to search for historical threads, but couldn't find anything specific. Anyway, I've noticed that my Mini Cooper S 2014 F56 struggles to light up the road with high beams. So I'm going to ask, but is this something to do with power delivery? or do I need new bulbs? My car has the headlights linked here: https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/min...383220#reviews

It's hard to find data on these headlights so I'm a little unsure if it's Bi-xenon, Halogen or LED (even thought it says LED, I suspect that it might be referring to DRLs) - or even how to swap them out/calibrate the pattern so it doesn't blind oncoming traffic.

Would love to know: Bulb size, Bulb type.

Any recommendations on bright globes? (I always admire the headlights on Tesla which have great brightness to them).

I don’t think those bulbs are replaceable.

I have the "LED" and no issues with high beams, maybe yours are halogen, you would need to look behind the housing.

I have LED's too and they are excellent at low and high beams. Maybe yours need adjustment. The LED's have a huge heat sink on the back of the light units...if yours don't they are probably halogen.

Halogens have the normal lens, the other ones are all LED, no separate bulbs.
