According to Track Junkies only +2009 MINI convertibles are suitable for track use. Looking at open day events at Sebring, Homestead, PB and Daytona. Any first hand knowledge? Alice would dearly love to stretch her legs a bit.

Perhaps it depends on the track and the event. I believe this one was either going to or coming back from an endurance event at Road Atlanta, but it might have been Autocross related.

Depends on the track and the organization hosting the event. The roll bar is also a concern. Depending on the organization, the OEM roll bar may not meet tech standards for track use.
